Your dog is already eating raw, cooked or home-prepared food
…but you’ve never really known whether the whole diet balances nutritionally when everything they eat is added together.
We’ve already done the investigating. We know your dog’s history, what you’ve tried, what they’re currently eating and where the important concerns sit.
Sometimes the next step isn’t months of ongoing investigation. It’s making sure the food going into their bowl every day is actually built around what their body needs.
Our Complex Case Diet Formulation takes everything we’ve discovered, and turns it into one precise, practical home-prepared recipe for your dog, nutritionally assessed against FEDIAF guidance and considered alongside their individual health history, tolerances, supplements and veterinary care.
We’ve already opened the case to investigate your dog’s dietary dilemmas. We’ve talked through the wider picture, looked at what matters and joined the dots.
The formulation is the ‘technical work’ that comes afterwards.
This is where I take the information we’ve gathered and work behind the scenes to calculate, build, rebalance and design an actual home-prepared recipe for your dog, right down to the quantities going into their bowl.
Fresh meat. Vegetables. Oils. Natural supplements. Foods your dog genuinely enjoys…
And none of those are bad choices.
The difficulty is that good ingredients don’t automatically add up to a nutritionally balanced diet when they’re combined.
A home-prepared bowl can contain plenty of beautiful fresh food while quietly falling short on calcium, trace minerals, vitamins, essential fats or other nutrients your dog needs consistently over the long term. It can also provide much more of certain nutrients than your individual dog actually needs.
That matters even more when we’re working with an older dog, previous abnormal results, an existing health condition or another reason why generic feeding advice just isn’t precise enough.
…but you’ve never really known whether the whole diet balances nutritionally when everything they eat is added together.
Age, diagnosed conditions, previous blood or urine results, medication, supplements or ongoing veterinary management may mean that a generic feeding plan isn’t enough.
We’re not trying to unravel constantly changing symptoms. We know enough about your dog to build something practical and appropriately considered.
They need the diet itself properly calculated, with the option to check back in with me later if and when it’s useful.
If we still need to experiment, introduce foods carefully, monitor changing symptoms or learn more from your dog before a settled long-term diet makes sense, I would recommend the Wellness Revival 6-month partnership instead.
If you’ve already had your Complex Case Consultation, you won’t be left guessing which route fits. I’ll have recommended the one I genuinely think your dog needs (and it’s probably this one, if you’re here!).
Ready to continue?
You can secure your dog’s formulation, then you’ll be taken straight to the Diet Details Questionnaire.
You’ve already completed the investigation stage. From this point, the process is straightforward.
When you’re ready, you’ll complete the £198 one-off payment for the Complex Case Diet Formulation. This secures the formulation work and takes you straight to your Diet Details Questionnaire.
I already know your dog’s wider story from our Complex Case Consultation, so this isn’t about repeating everything we’ve already covered.
I’ll ask you to confirm the practical details that matter when a recipe is being calculated: your dog’s exact current weight, precise products and quantities, extras, supplements, dosing schedules and what genuinely passes their lips during an average week (treats included!).
I go back through your dog’s Complex Case file and bring together the relevant health history, current feeding, known tolerances, veterinary recommendations, supplements and nutritional priorities we’ve already identified. You do not start again from scratch.
I work out an appropriate energy starting point and assess protein, fats, essential fatty acids, amino acids, vitamins and minerals alongside your dog’s life stage and individual circumstances.
This is the technical bit. I work through ingredient amounts and combinations until we have a recipe that makes nutritional sense and remains realistic for you to prepare and your dog to eat.
Supplements are considered as part of the overall picture. I’ll look at what your dog is already receiving, what remains genuinely useful and where unnecessary duplication or nutritional gaps exist.
You’ll receive the exact ingredient quantities, feeding guidance, preparation notes, practical instructions and the reasoning behind the key nutritional decisions, together with an easy-read Nutritional Formulation Summary.
Once the plan is ready, you’ll receive your invitation to book the included 30-minute Formulation Handover Call so I can explain the finished recipe, answer your immediate questions and make sure you feel confident putting it into practice.
One properly considered formulation, written so you can actually use it.
I formulate your dog’s recipe using FEDIAF nutritional guidance as the reference framework, looking beyond the ingredients themselves at the nutrients the finished diet actually provides.
That means assessing the recipe across energy, protein, essential amino acids, fats and fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and the balance between key nutrients such as calcium and phosphorus.
But formulation isn’t simply aiming for a target amount of each nutrient.
Your dog’s age, health history, veterinary findings, medication, current tolerances and the foods that already work well for them all influence the decisions I make when building their recipe.
Where there’s a good reason to adjust a standard nutritional target around an individual dog, I’ll explain what I’ve done and why.
Once you’ve purchased your Complex Case Diet Formulation and completed your Diet Details Questionnaire, I’ll check that I have everything I need to formulate accurately.
If there’s an outstanding veterinary result, supplement label or specific piece of information that could materially affect your dog’s recipe, I’ll ask you for that before I begin.
Complete your Diet Details Questionnaire so I have the exact practical information needed to formulate.
Once I have everything required, your completed formulation will usually be ready within 7–10 working days.
You’ll receive the booking invitation for your included 30-minute handover so we can go through the finished formulation together.
You’ll receive your:
Then we’ll arrange your included 30-minute Formulation Handover Call so we can go through it together and you can ask any immediate questions before putting the new diet into practice.
Please note: the 7–10 working day timeframe begins once I have all the information needed to formulate your dog’s diet safely and accurately.
Happy with how it works?
You can continue whenever you’re ready. There’s no ongoing contract or monthly fee attached to the formulation.
Your formulation is calculated using the specific ingredients and quantities written in your plan.
That means ingredients can’t always be swapped gram-for-gram without changing calories, minerals, vitamins, fatty acids or other parts of the nutritional balance.
If something needs replacing after your plan has been completed, just ask rather than guessing.
Where one practical ingredient substitution means the existing formulation needs recalculating, I can rebalance the recipe for £39.
If your dog’s circumstances have changed enough to require a genuinely different nutritional strategy or a substantially different recipe, I’ll explain what further work would be needed before anything is undertaken or charged.
A Complex Case Diet Formulation is designed to give you something practical that you can confidently get on with.
You’re not paying in advance for weeks or months of support you may never use.
If you’d like to check in once your dog has been eating the new diet for a while, talk through updated results or simply ask some questions about how they’re getting on, you can book one of my standard 1:1 Coaching Calls for £39 whenever it’s useful.
