A gentler, smarter way to manage worms during pregnancy.

Worried about overloading your girl with unnecessary chemicals? You’re not alone — most of our clients feel the same, which is why they choose to screen rather than blindly deworm. This natural-first approach gives you clarity, not chemicals.

By checking for parasites at key points in pregnancy and early puppyhood, you’ll know exactly when — and if — treatment is actually needed. No guessing. No unnecessary medication. Just informed, safe decisions.

Your kit includes everything you need:
  • A consultation with the Canine Nutrition Coach to guide you through the process
  • Worm test for mum mid-pregnancy (40–45 days)
  • Worm test for mum post-whelp
  • Pooled sample kit for puppies at 2–3 weeks old
Most of our clients never need to worm after screening — and feel more confident knowing exactly what’s going on inside.
If you're aiming for a safer, more natural breeding journey, this is a must-have part of your toolkit.
Why screen instead of just worming?
Routine worming may seem like the easy option, but it often means giving unnecessary chemicals to a dog who doesn’t need them — especially risky during pregnancy.

Screening allows you to check if worms are actually present before treating, helping you avoid disrupting gut health or medicating blindly. Most of our clients never need to worm after screening.
When do I use the kits?
The kit includes three tests timed to key points in the breeding journey:
  • Mid-pregnancy (Day 40–45) — checks mum before whelping
  • Post-whelp — ensures she's clear before puppies nurse
  • 2–3 weeks old — pooled sample from the litter to check early exposure
What if worms are found?
If anything is picked up, you’ll be offered a free telephone consultation with the Canine Nutrition Coach to talk through natural and conventional treatment options, so you can choose the approach that suits you best.

Always consult your vet if you have concerns about your dog’s health.

CNC Soothing Slippery Elm

Only a few left!

Your go-to supplement for wobbly tummies.

CNC Soothing Slippery Elm is a favourite among owners and breeders for supporting digestive calm during times of upset. It’s commonly used during the post-whelping period, the weaning stage, and when puppies or adults are adjusting to new environments or foods.

This natural plant bark powder is traditionally used to coat and line the gut with a soft gel-like layer, and it’s a store cupboard staple for many homes with dogs.
