After whelping, a bitch’s nutritional demands increase significantly — especially for calcium, which is required for milk production and uterine recovery. Some breeds and individuals deplete their reserves rapidly, which is why calcium is a core part of many breeders’ post-whelp care routines.

What are your ingredients?
Our Calci-Power calcium contains the natural form called calcium gluconate — chosen for its easy absorbability, dissolve-ability in water, and tummy-kind formula. Ideal for new-mums, particularly if they’re off their food or prone to tummy sensitivity which are commonly reported complaints following whelping.
Suggested Feeding Guidance
Begin supplementation onwards from first puppy arriving. Continue daily for at least 21 days in typical instances, or 6 weeks post-whelp in small, toy, or high-risk breeds.
Suggested feeding amount: Approximate baseline is a teaspoon per 5kg of bodyweight, per day.
How to feed: Simply scoop the powder, and add to boiling water. Stir to dissolve, cool then feed to your dog on food, in bone broth, puppy milk or anything she is eating!
⚠️ Always provide fresh water. This supplement is not a substitute for veterinary treatment in cases of suspected eclampsia. If in doubt, contact your vet immediately.
