Have a low fertility dog? Selenium is a vital nutritional component of the diet. Along with Vitamin E, studies have shown great promise that Selenium can improve semen quality in animals with lowered fertility. Any stud that it is failing to cover bitches successfully, not chilling well, or had a poor semen analysis should consider a course of Selenium.

Selenium is essential for all dogs, but especially for bitches as it is vital for proper fetal growth and development during pregnancy. The requirement for Selenium appears to increase during pregnancy, particularly during the later stages. A lack of Selenium, together with vitamin E has been implicated in fading puppy syndrome. Should a bitch had a previous small or failed litter, she should be supplemented prior in anticipation of the next season. See suggested uses below. Each order contains 60 capsules.

Suggested amount for studs with poor semen quality is 1/2 a capsule (=60ug) per 10kg of body weight a day. The natural capsule can be simply pulled apart to separate the contents into the right quantity for your use.

Suggested for low fertility bitches. Suggested amount is 1/2 capsule per 10kg of body weight daily for up 2 months months prior to planned breeding. From day of mating, reduce to 1/4 of a capsule per 10kg of body weight until birth.

Our CNC Natural Selenium contains 60 capsules. This will last an average sized dog a 2 month supply, or a small dog over 6 months.

Our CNC Natural Selenium comes as 60 separatable capsules (made from natural vegetable cellulose) containing 200ug of Selenium (L-Selenomethionine), 505mg natural rice flour, 5mg Alfalfa (plant from the legume family). That's it - no nasties or synthetic additives.
