Raspberry Leaf has long been used in traditional herbalism to support females through hormonal transitions. In dogs, it’s often included in breeder routines to accompany pregnancies onwards from the second trimester onwards, or post-whelp as part of natural uterine recovery.

While other options exist on the market, they contain far less actual raspberry leaf. Some don’t even resemble the real, natural dried brown leaf — their products are instead usually white in colour, heavily processed, and diluted with cheap filler powders to reduce production costs. How much do i need to buy?
Our CNC Natural Raspberry Leaf contains 30 capsules per pack. This will last an average sized dog a typical pregnancy (from 3-9 weeks gestation). This lasts a small dog approximately 4 months - plenty for pregnancy or phantom pregnancy minimisation.
Suggested Feeding Guidance
CNC Natural Raspberry Leaf is commonly added to the diet from day 22 of gestation onward, once implantation has occurred. It is typically continued until whelping and then for 4–8 weeks post-birth to support natural recovery and tone.
Suggested feeding amounts:
⚠️ This should not to be given before day 22 of pregnancy. Always seek veterinary advice if concerned about your dog’s health. This is a traditional herbal support — not a veterinary treatment, therefore considered a natural supplementary addition to a balanced diet.

- Toy breeds: ¼ capsule per day
- Small breeds: ⅓ capsule per day
- Medium breeds: ½ capsule per day
- Large breeds: 1 capsule per day
- Giant breeds: 2 capsules per day

Failed Breeding: If you find that your bitch is not pregnant at her ultrasound scan, owners typically continue use of Natural Raspberry Leaf extract for a further two months to minimise phantom pregnancy.
Non-breeding Season: For girls not being bred, it can be introduced at the start of the season, or as soon as possible to help hormonal balance. Proactive owners tend to double the supplementation for 2 weeks if their female is already experiencing a phantom pregnancy and suffering.
