1. Active Labour Support - Remote (Most Popular)
This is your go-to package for midwoof support on the big day. This includes my dedicated support from the first sign of labour until the puppies have arrived safely. Including:

For those who want hands-on help and the reassurance of having an experienced breeder right there in the room. This package offers full whelping support, including:

✔ Pre-Whelp Consultation (online, 1 week before due date): Check your set-up, kit, and answer last-minute questions.
✔ Whelping Kit Checklist & Video Watch List so you know what to have ready and what to expect.
✔ On-site attendance for active labour and whelping: I’ll be with you from the start of active pushing until the last puppy is born (up to 12 hours, but can extend by arrangement).
✔ Practical support during whelping: Helping prepare and dry puppies, weighing, keeping notes, keeping mum comfortable, and guiding you through the process step-by-step, navigating curveballs and assisting with your veterinary team where needed.
✔ Guidance on red flags: Helping you know when to monitor, when to step in, and when to escalate to your vet.
✔ Post-birth care: Initial checks that puppies are feeding well, temperature is stable, and mum is settled before I leave.
✔ Follow-up call the next day: to check everyone is doing well and answer new questions.

- * If labour exceeds 12 hrs, additional time is billed at £50/hr.
- Please note your holding fee is non-refundable as we only ever reserve 1 booking per week - so we can be exclusively on call with you and promise no double-bookings.
- Client hospitality: A safe resting space (with bathroom access and light refreshments) is kindly required for the duration of my stay as it can be a long stint! Overnight stay may be required if travel exceeds 2 hours and whelping spans overnight.
- Attendance covers active labour and whelping only (not first-stage pacing/nesting, unless by prior arrangement).

- Reserve your dates: Pay a £250 holding fee to secure your exclusive booking window around your girl's due date.
- Prepare with confidence: We’ll meet for our Pre-Whelp Call, one week before due date, to check your whelping area and equipment.
- Stay supported: You’ll receive your kit checklist and video watch list, so you feel more prepared and ready for anything.
- Guided birth: When the time comes, I’ll be right there with you — either remotely or in-person — until the last puppy arrives. We'll work together and should the worst happen and your girl need veterinary support, you'll have me beside you to help you navigate your options with confidence.

What if my bitch whelps early or late?
Your holding fee reserves a 5-day booking window around your girl's due date. If she labours slightly earlier or later, you’ll still have my support. Outside of that window, extra charges may apply, but I’ll always do my best to accommodate.
What happens if she goes straight to a c-section?
Hopefully you won't need vet intervention but if your bitch requires an emergency caesarean, your package is still considered fulfilled, as my role covers preparation, on-call commitment, and live support up until that point. I will continue to support you afterwards, and I’ll always provide a next-day follow-up.
What if the labour takes longer than expected?
Active Labour Support includes up to 12 hours, and Full Whelping Watch up to 36 hours. If things go beyond this, I’ll stay with you — additional time is charged at £50/hr.
Do you actually deliver the puppies?
Your girl delivers her own puppies - but my role is to guide you through the process, provide reassurance, and step in with advice or practical help where appropriate. I will show you how to release puppies from their sac, dry and clean them, and even how to manage their umbilical cords.
Can you guarantee all the puppies will survive?
No support service can make guarantees - we're simply here to support you. I am not a vet, nor have access to veterinary tools or medications. My role is to help you manage potential risks and help you make better decisions, quickly - when it matters most. Outcomes ultimately depend on many factors, including mum’s health and timely vet care.
Booking Promise
I promise to never double-book whelping clients. Each week, I only reserve one whelping slot, which means your girl will always have my full, undivided attention. Whether she comes early or late, you’ll have exclusive access to me during her labour. Unlike other services, you’ll never find me juggling two litters or cutting our support short. When it’s her time, she, and you, are my sole priority.
Terms & Conditions
- Availability: Our availability is first-come, first-served to ensure fair access. If we already have a holding fee for a due date window, we are unable to accommodate any further whelping support bookings.
- Holding Fee: A £250 holding fee is required to reserve your girl’s due date. This can only be paid once your female has been confirmed in pup by ultrasound, we do not 'hold' due dates prior to pregnancy confirmation to ensure fair availability. This holding fee is non-refundable, as it secures my exclusive availability.
- Exclusive Booking: Once the holding fee is received, I block out a 5-day booking window around her due date. Within this window, your girl is my sole priority.
- Remote Support Duration: Active Labour Support includes up to 12 hours live video/phone support once pushing begins. Full Whelping Watch includes up to 36 hours of availability. Additional time, if required, is billed at £50/hr.
- In-Person Support Duration: In-person attendance covers up to 12 hours of active labour and whelping. Time beyond this is billed at £50/hr.
- Travel & Expenses: Travel is charged at 50p per mile. For distances over 2 hours, overnight accommodation (or safe resting space in-house) must be provided.
- Emergency Sections: If your bitch requires an emergency caesarean after labour has begun, my support package is considered fulfilled. My role covers preparation, on-call commitment, and support up until the point that labour is 'complete' whether that be a self-whelp at home, or veterinary assisted. Follow-up support after surgery and a next-day check-in are included.
- Payment Terms & Cancellations: The holding fee is non-refundable (as it blocks out our diary) in any circumstance. Cancellations made after the remaining balance has been paid is non-refundable.
- Role & Responsibility: I am not a veterinary surgeon, nor hold any veterinary qualifications, nor have access to any veterinary tools, equipment or medicines. My role is to provide experienced, traditional breeder-based guidance only. In any emergency, veterinary care must take priority.
- Client Responsibilities: Clients must ensure they have the recommended whelping kit, safe facilities, and access to a vet.
- Outcomes: While my support reduces risks and helps you act quickly, I cannot guarantee outcomes for mum or puppies.
